I Sing to the King! 12-08-11

Speak Life!! Speak Joy!!

Did you know ...when you speak to yourself or to others with a language of "woe is me" -- you are speaking death -- the attitude of your words are creating an expectation of preparing for the next bad thing to happen -- that is right where the devil wants you to be...understand this...he doesn't care about you, your life, your things...no...he wants your joy...if he can keep you believing that nothing ever good ever happens to you or nothing ever works out...then he has you. Stop expecting bad things to happen!

When you Speak LIFE and expect the best, you will be amazed at what happens!! Even when things come your way that challenge you, Speak Life and claim the joy that is your inheritance...it will sustain you!

Stop complaining about your life!!!
There are millions around the world that are dreaming to live the life you whine about.

I have chosen to live every day seeking the joy that God has promised me, so when stuff happens...I can stand up against whatever comes my way!!  I know I can handle it...because I have the strength of the Lord through my joy! I am embracing this life with passionate positivity...I am excited about what today will bring and even more excited about tomorrow!

If you are struggling and need encouragement, seek it privately, through someone you trust to hold you accountable to seeking joy and speaking life, but be prepared...they will make you mad. Haha! I know a few people who probably didn't even finish this message and will avoid me in the hallways at church.

I couldn't share this if I hadn't overcome it. I used to live the 'woe is me' life...it only brought more of what I dwelt on... it is a vicious cycle. UGH!

I am so THANKFUL I found the joy of the Lord!!!! Its so much better!!

Think about this the next time you are tempted to post a 'woe is me' status on your facebook page...misery loves company.

Proverbs 15:13-16

13 A glad heart makes a happy face;
      a broken heart crushes the spirit.

 14 A wise person is hungry for knowledge,
      while the fool feeds on trash.

 15 For the despondent, every day brings trouble;
      for the happy heart, life is a continual feast.

 16 Better to have little, with fear for the Lord,
      than to have great treasure and inner turmoil.

You are gonna love this song! JOY!!!!
