I AM
a
Child of God
I love this one!
Its simple...and the promise that comes with it...is amazing.
To be an heir to all Abraham was promised
makes me want to stand up and shout
I AM A CHILD OF GOD!!
There are many verses in the Bible that reference being children of the Most High God...Galations 3:29 stands out to me, because it speaks of our inheritance, an inheritance that we can't earn, because the work was already done through the obedience of Abraham and the sacrifice of Jesus. Its ours just for believing.
Can you even grasp what this looks like? God loves YOU with a love so deep He sent His son to die for YOU...so that you could be called HIS CHILD and become an HEIR to all that is promised.
The first time I grasped the enormity of the promise to Abraham of 'as far as the eye can see' was when I watched a video of Reinhard Bonnke preaching in Africa - I had never seen anything like it! I shouted through my tears and proclaimed along with the millions of
His descendants as they cried out Hallelujah!!
Join in with all the believers of the world and proclaim your inheritance - shout it out - I AM A CHILD of GOD!!
I feel led by the Holy Spirit to ask if you have had the opportunity to ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior - I sense there are readers who are ready to take this step today...if thats you...
Just say this simple prayer...
"Lord Jesus, I believe You died for me and that you are alive and listening to me now. I repent of my sins and ask Your forgiveness. From this moment on, I decide to live for You and no longer for myself, to do Your will and not mine. Make me the kind of person You want me to be. Show me the way to the Father. Now fill me with the Holy Spirit, Who will teach me how to live for You and how to tell the world You are my Savior and Lord. I love You, Father, Son and Holy Spirit."
Amen!
If you said this prayer today -- Your life belongs to Jesus. You have made the most important decision in life.
I am so excited for you!!Please leave a comment or send a message and tell us the good news!!
